The second pig was a touch more diligent and built his house out of wood. The third pig, however, was very perceptive and took the time to build his house out of strong, sturdy bricks.
One day, a sinister wolf came along who was thirsty for dinner. He found the first pig's house of straw and demanded to come inside. The little pig, of course, said no. The wolf then tossed down the house with a single puff of air!
The first pig scampered to his brother's house of wood for protection. The wolf followed, and once again pleaded to come inside. The two little pigs refused, but the wolf tossed down the house of sticks with just a few puffs! The two pigs then fled to their brother's house of bricks.
The wolf, now furious, tried his best to blow down the sturdy house of mortar, but he just couldn't succeed. He attempted and breathed, but the house held strong.
Finally, the wolf concluded that he couldn't blow down the house. {Hesneaked up the chimney hoping to surprise the pigs. But the clever third pig had already set a pot of steaming stew at the top of the chimney. The wolf fell into the pot and screamed, then scampered as fast as he could.
